I just got back from Mabul last Friday so i am going to do a very quick update on the accommodation there, at Semporna and Mabul itself.

MONDAY - FRIDAY
11 - 14.12.2018
Plan asal, early flight to Tawau then terus check in Mabul, then stay Semporna on the last night there. REALITY and unfortunetly, AirAsia flight got delayed so we did not manage to get the boat to Mabul. so tukar plan, stay Semporna on the 1st night.
Did not book any room before coming here, so sampai sahaja Semporna, jalan-jalan sambil keluar masuk hotel cari bilik. If this is your 1st time here in Semporna, i suggest you jadi kan WATSON or GUARDIAN sebagai landmark, suruh your grab driver or kereta sapu berhenti di sini then you walk and search hotel around here.
For family room, muat 4 pax harga bilik range di antara MR200- RM300++, book online mungkin akan jimat sikit.
but we did find a room yang bawah RM200.
SIPADAN INN
LOVE;
- ada banyak Sipadan Inn di sini, pastikan its Sipadan Inn sahaja, harga walk in is RM190.
- took the VIP room untuk muatkan 4 pax. bilik sangat luas, puas hati.
- hotel adalah di antara bangunan kedai sahaja but the hotel is very clean.
- towel provided
- TV adalah tv wifi, so the connection is a bit slow. kebetulan masa pergi tu time Vietnam vs Msia, lawan di Bukit Jalil. AFF Suzuki cup.
- ada wifi dalam bilik, laju untuk stream tengok bola.
- walking distance to the jetty / market / Giant / kedai-kedai, sebelah hotel adalah Watson.
thats all kot, nothing to complain as the price berpadanan dengan harga. :)
BILLABONG SCUBA
This is our place we stayed in Mabul. Billabong Scuba. Ambil pakej terus under Billabong.
tips;
- try call banyak kali, my dad called 3 times to ask for the price dan tiga2 call adalah harga berlainan. the 3rd call tu we got RM450 per pax untuk boat transfer Mabul + bilik untuk 2 malam + makan B/L/D + unlimted hote drinks available 24hours + jetty fees + snorkling equipment + 3 time snorkling trips to Mabul and Kapalai
- harga yang kami dapat adalah harga musim cuti sekolah.
- other package i tried asking quote me starting from RM650 - RM800 per pax.
LOVE;
- agak berpuas hati dengan semua during my stay here
- service bagus, customer service ok, staff pon friendly
- kami ambil bilik biasa sahaja with air con. tidak ambil bilik bungalow atas air. that, you need to add RM600 more untuk 4 pax for 2 nights.
- makanan basic but still mengenyangkan, tu yang penting. if nak lagi bagus, beli lah ketam or lobster from the orang bajau then ask orang dapur to cook for you. dorang akan caj RM10 for rebus or RM20 for buttermilk.
- bilik basic, air con sejuk. nothing to complain, berpadanan dengan harga.
DISLIKE;
- i do think their snorkling trip tempoh agak pendek. memang tak puas snorkling.
